2016 Viking 52 Open with Hardtop

Stuart, Florida

$1,850,000

New to the brokerage market, here is a clean, low original engine hour, 52' Viking Open express with EZ2CY enclosure and hardtop.  This particular Viking Yacht has some customization options to the bridge deck and interior which make it appealing for cruising use as well as fishing.  Very lightly used boat which looks excellent and is ready to go.  Teak cockpit deck was new in 2021 and there are twin mezzanine seats with refrigerated boxes beneath.  Cockpit fishing features include a transom live well with window and an under-deck live-well, Bluewater teak rocket launcher, hydraulic double-spreader Rupp outriggers (automatically lowered from the helm), large underdeck fish box, and 4 electric reel plugs under the gunwales.  Also mounted to the side of the mezzanine seat is a networked Garmin display and a Fusion stereo control.  She also lights up nicely in the evenings with tri-color LEDs under the hardtop, in the cockpit, plus 4 underwater lights on the transom.  Very comfortable climate-controlled Helm deck with bound edge carpet has a settee lounge to the port side which has a custom-made large ottoman which can fit into the curved seat and make a lounge bed. The starboard aft helm deck has a comfortable dinette with teak table (this layout is similar to the current 54' Viking Open models).  A centerline Stidd helm chair for the captain is on a raised platform and forward-facing double-sized Stidd companion chairs are mounted on fiberglass consoles to either side.  Teak helm pod with bow thruster buttons on the single lever controls, plus triple 15-inch Garmin displays.  Further comforts on this level include a drink ice machine under the portside helm seat and a great stereo system with JL Audio speaker system.  When at the dock there is a Surefly cockpit shade with poles that fit the aft rod holders and also a separate fly cover the snaps to the transom, both new in 2021.

This Viking Open model has a Palm Beach Towers built hardtop which has a large fold down rod storage compartment in the overhead which is extremely handy.  The full enclosure is EZ-2-CY which provides full weather protection while maintaining the "outdoor" feel you get when on this open model helm deck as opposed to a sport coupe or sport tower models.

The interior shows like new with Viking Yachts teak gloss finish cabinetry.  It has three staterooms which consist of a master stateroom forward, a double berth stateroom, and an upper/lower bunk room.  The berths all have renewed bedding and decor pillows.  Each stateroom has its own Fusion stereo and the double berth rooms have Samsung LCD TVs.  The galley area has large granite-like countertops with Amtico teak and holly sole, Sub-Zero refrigeration drawers, convection/microwave, and lots of drawer and cabinet storage.

A great running boat which is capable of 34 knot cruise speed (see photo) and near 40 knots at WOT.  Only 1300 original hours on her V-12 MAN 1400hp common-rail motors and a clean engine room.  White painted/finished bilges with lighting are one of Viking Yachts features and when they are well kept as is this boat, helps makes regular daily use more enjoyable.

She has completed full services on the engines and a recent complete detailing. She’s in brilliant condition and ready to cruise or fish.

Overview

This 2016 52’ Viking open model is one of the best express style sportfish/cruiser vessels built. Viking Yachts combined exceptional build quality, blistering speed, soft ride, and luxury accommodations in the 52 to create a legendary vessel. Notably low hours on her 1400hp MAN common rails and a custom 3 stateroom layout that sets her apart from all her available sisterships on the market. On deck she has a unique command deck configuration with two seating areas with table at one side and movable ottoman/lounge on the other with custom bound edge outdoor carpet, making this area an open, air-conditioned salon and dining space. Downstairs, her owner’s stateroom is forward and guest to starboard, but this Viking’s 3rd stateroom has a double bed in the third rather than the traditional 2nd set of bunks.  The teak cockpit has mezzanine seating, a Rocket launcher, and transom livewell. She has completed full services on the engines and a recent complete detailing. She’s in excellent condition and ready to cruise or fish.
